Episode 33 – Jane Gorman

In this episode, Jeff sits down with Jane Gorman, the author of the Cape May Cozy Mysteries and the Adam Kaminski Mystery. This episode was originally recorded back in October of 2020. While looking at a rough draft chapter from her Cape May Cozy Mysteries, Jeff and Jane talk about keeping the reader engaged by staying in the dialogue, using verbal ticks to enhance emotional resonance in the dialogue, using repeated scenes in your story, and having characters play off of one another.
