9-Week Cohort-Style Mastermind:
Edit Yourself Like The Dialogue Doctor
By the end of the cohort, you will have a better understanding of how to read your work like an editor, identify reader burden and common mistakes, and make impactful edits to your writing.
Every participant will be asked to submit a 1,500 word scene by August 1. Each scene will be edited by one of the Dialogue Doctor coaches, used as an example during a teaching week, and returned to the author with coaching notes included.
Join us Wednesdays at 8 PM Eastern from September 1 through October 30.
The course will include 5 teaching sessions with try-it-yourself practice exercises, 3 work weeks, and a lessons-learned session. Teaching will focus on achieving the editing mindset and the four core types of editing: Story, Voice, Emotion, and Polish.
