Hi, Jeff and Tom. Listening to you discuss books, TV shows, and writing craft topics is always great. Jeff, I’m glad you and Tom discussed that the expectation writers set up for readers in the opening of a story needs to carry through the entire piece, giving the reader a payoff experience that correlates directly back to the opening chapter.
